Wedding Music: Dance Anthems
If there is one thing that all engaged couples can agree on, it’s that they want guests to dance at their wedding. What a sad sight it would be to have an empty dance floor on your wedding night. To make sure guests keep dancing and are having fun at your wedding, it’s important to play wedding music that can be enjoyed by all ages. To accomplish this, we recommend playing the year’s most popular wedding music anthems.

To define what a “dance anthem” is, it is that one new song each year that sticks out above all the rest. It has a great beat, and you can’t stop singing along to it. Last year is was Pharrell William’s “Happy.” In 2013 it was Icona Pop’s “I Love It.” This year, we feel there is no better song than Walk the Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance.” Listen below to our recommendation for 2015’s dance anthem:
Even though dance anthems are typically newer songs, with their upbeat tempo, they can be enjoyed by guests young and old. You’ll want your personal style to be portrayed in your wedding music, but you will also wants your guests’ favorite music styles played as well. Try to incorporate both classic and new wedding music, to make sure there is something that appeals to everyone. There is no better feeling on your wedding night than to see guests young and old dancing, singing and having fun together on your dance floor.
