Wedding DJ Venue Spotlight: Blooming Hill Farm

We recently provided wedding DJ services for Jess and Tristan’s wedding at Blooming Hill Farm. With it being our first time working at this venue, we were in awe most of the day with the beauty of this special place. Blooming Hill Farm is family owned and was founded in 1984. It is located in Blooming Grove, NY, about 60 miles outside of Manhattan, and is one of the last operating farms in the region. Over 200 varieties of organic produce are grown on the farm.

The venue makes planning a wedding on-site as easy as possible for their clients, by offering all-inclusive wedding packages. Use of the entire venue, tables, chairs, catering services and event planning services are all included in their packages. If you’re a foodie, you are in for a real treat for your wedding at Blooming Hill Farm! They try to source all of their produce from their organic farm. When not possible, for example with meat, they source their food from other local, organic farmers. Couples are able to customize their menus, and are guided through the menu planning process.

There are several different options for wedding layouts on the property. The venue includes a large, open field that is perfect for a tented wedding. There is also a barn on-site, which is very unique, with a raw feeling to it. Blooming Hill Farm also accommodates wedding ceremonies on-property in their garden. The wedding party walks down the aisle from the field with a mountain as the backdrop…it is breathtaking. When booked in conjunction with a wedding reception package, there is no additional fee for a wedding ceremony. However, guests are encouraged to rent additional chairs for the ceremony.
