Hudson Valley Same Sex Wedding DJ

With more and more same sex weddings taking place, we are proud to offer our DJ services for weddings throughout the Hudson Valley & Westchester area.  We are a proud supporter of marriage equality, and have provided DJ services for over 30 same sex weddings. From DJ services to lighting to photo booths, we are proud to provide services for all same sex weddings.

We have found same sex weddings to be unique to each couple, as there are no set rules or traditions to follow. With this being the first time in history that same sex couples can legally marry, we find this an exciting time for couples to create their own rules and roles for their wedding day. Same sex couples of today are writing the book of traditions for same sex weddings of the future. New traditions are being created with each wedding that we handle, and we love to see what ideas our clients come up with!

For same sex weddings, we’ve learned that there are many differences between female and male couples’ wishes. Female couples are more likely to follow traditions than male couples. They are more likely to have a first dance and a traditional wedding ceremony. Male couples seem to have a unique outlook on wedding planning, and tend to steer from tradition. We are all individuals and our goal is to customize our DJ services for each of our couples’ wedding ceremonies and receptions.

We recently provided DJ services for Corey and Robert’s wedding at Stone Mill Botanical Garden. This was such a fun and joyous wedding that strayed from typical wedding traditions. We are excited to share a few photos from their special day, captured by Weddings by Two Photography.
