Wedding Cake Cutting Song Ideas
Don’t forget the wedding cake! Choosing music for your wedding takes a lot of thought and effort. Make sure your cake cutting song isn’t one that you overlook. The wedding cake cutting is one wedding tradition that most couples (and guests) don’t want to miss. It calls for an upbeat song, because, after all, wedding cake is exciting!

The cake cutting usually takes place after the wedding meal is finished, right before dancing begins. Once the wedding dance floor is opened up to guests and dancing begins, you don’t want to interrupt dancing too many times for things like the cake cutting, bouquet and garter toss. Every time you interrupt dancing, it’s hard to get guests back on the dance floor again. Another option that many couples choose to do is cut their cake immediately following their first dance, before speeches. Whenever a couple chooses to cut their cake, a fun song is recommended.
